Premiere cards with the brand new Happy Christmas collection!

Today I have some really nice news to show you all! A whole new collection with the most gorgeous Christmas papers you can buy! They have traditional Christmas patterns together with nice base patterns as stripes and stars. The colors are just fantastic and I´m totally in love with all of the papers! I just threw myself over the pile of papers and started to create my first Christmas cards. And there will be more of them! The collection makes the job so much fun and really easy when you get so much inspiration!

The first card has the cutest bird image on. The blue pot on the image determine the color scheme to blue. I framed the image with a scalloped die-cut and I also used my sewing machine. Then I put some 3d pillows under for some 3d effect.

Sometimes I love to make my own flowers and here I made some Poinsettias with a light grey paper from Happy Christmas collection. Inside the flowers I used blue pearls.

Behind my flowers I die-cut leaves from a dark blue paper.

To make my card really luxurious I also die-cut corners in the dark blue paper and finished it off with blue pearls.

I love, love to make tags! The shape of them makes it easy to work with. Here I used one of the Santas that you can find on one of the sheets. They have different colors so they fit all of the colors in this collection. I wanted to keep it quite simple so I layered it with some lace and embellished with a large bow and three Roses. All from Inkido!

Published Layout!

I was asked to draw a layout sketch for the Swedish magazine Inzpira for some time ago. The readers get to create after it also and some of them gets published in the magazine. This is the page I created after my own sketch. It was also published. I have used papers, lace, rhinestones, pins and some flowers from Inkido.

The theme for this issue was fairytales or "sagor" in Swedish. My page is about Viggo reading a book outside on the porch. I love reading and try my best to establish that interest with Viggo.

I I draped some sewing thread over my flower clusters.

The big brown flower was original beige but I misted it brown.

Look how beatiful the Cherryblossom, Rose and the large Rhinestone are together!

I will never forget

Today I´m here on a Wednesday! I got an extra day so you will be seeing me again tomorrow! Hope you can stand it ;)
I have a page I created after Once Upon A Sketch August challenge.

The theme was to journaling about - I´ll never forget.. I wanted to do a page about my pregnancy that happened after twelve years of longing!

The cute bird comes from a Inkido paper called Blue Labels.

Lot´s of layering with different die-cuts and cake doilies.

I played a bit with my background paper. I used two different Stencils and both Acrylic paint and Modeling paste. The Modeling paste I colored in the same shade as the blue on the paper.

Welcome GDT Nadia!

Hi!

Nadia has more Inkido  projects for us!
Last time she visited us on the 21st of May with a card and one LO.
Today we have a new set from her, thank you Nadia so much!

I LOVED Inkido Beautiful Memories collection that they sent me to work with. It is so versatile... it includes pinks, blues and neutrals, darker and softer colours and you can just adapt it to any theme.

Materials List

Papers: Inkido Beautiful Memories collection
Stamp: Inkido Butterfly Stamp mini

Lots of fussy cutting in this layout. I first started by preparing the background. I used a mask, masking tape and mesh tape in random places and then went over that with a coat of gesso then sprayed it with the October afternoon mist.

I then placed down some paper doilies and applied another coat of gesso and another spray of the mist.

The gorgeous clock chipboard is from Scrap Matrix. I painted that with gesso and sprayed it with the same mist again.

I painted the Love title with gesso again and then dabbed some brown ink on top to blend it all in.

Here is a card I also made with these beautiful papers.

SO I hope you like my projects and the look of these papers.

Many thanks to Inkido for having me this month ! It was a pleasure!

Take care everyone!
